Since 2010, Mario Kart Wii has been modified through riivolution, adding custom tracks, characters, music... The problem, is that Riivolution is still not supported by dolphin, so we were unable to try all these awesome tracks.
In this tutorial i will teach you how to install custom tracks into MKW.
Important Note: This is not the game and is only a patch. The download links i will provide here is only to patch the game and the game itself is not provided. You should get it by yourself.
Note 2: This patch is made by Wiimm, i am not related in any way with the Wiimms Mario Kart Fun project. Also, some of this content came from the Custom Mario Kart Wiiki.

May or may not share savedata, i recommend to have both games, play GP, TT and battle with default MKW and VS with MKF. So you will have everything unlocked with MKF.

Extract the ZIP inside a folder, and move your MKW ISO/WBFS inside it.
Linux and Mac users should execute chmod a+x *.sh to make the shell scripts executable.
If using Windows, open create-image.bat, if using Linux or MacOS, open create-image.sh.

You'll get a window like this and please, DON'T RESIZE IT, you can select the language for the installer, write 'en' for English, 'de' for German or 'es' for Spanish and press enter.
Then, you will be prompt to force the game language, press the letter corresponding to the language you want or - if you don't want to force and press enter.
Then, you will be prompt for the track languages, if you want any of these languages and the game did not support it, select the corresponding language for the tracks and press enter, otherwise press x and then enter if you will use the same language of the game. Not all tracks will be translated.
You'll also be prompt if you want to translate custom tracks and if you want to reorder, select yes or no and press enter.
Now, you will have to select the output format, select wbfs if you want to save disc space or iso if you prefer the traditional one and press enter.
And then it will ask you if you want to have separate savedata with your default MKW, note that if you select 'yes' you won't be able to unlock almost anything and if you select 'no', you will be at risk if you misuse MKF and lose savedata but you can unlock everything through standard MKW. Choose yes or no wisely. And press enter.
And then you'll have to wait around 5 - 45 minutes.
After converting, the wbfs or iso will be at the new-image folder. Move the MKF archive and your MKW game archive to your usual game folder.
Execute patch-dir.bat in Windows and then delete the folder.
